Ancol Opens Art Class at Pasar Seni Every Saturday

PT. Pembangunan Jaya Ancol opens art class at Pasar Seni every Saturday from 9 AM to 12 PM.

This program has been running for two weeks

PT. Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Pasar Seni Education and Community Development Supervisor, Saskia Warouw mentioned, there are 12 art classes opened at Pasar Seni. From those classes, visitors can learn how to decorate mask, draw comic, make robot from cardboard, color bamboo, then make ceramics/pottery, naive painting, necklace, collage, and mix media art.

"This program has been running for two weeks. We hold it on Saturday because it is the most ideal day," she explained, Monday (10/14).

People who are interested to join the classes can register through email of pasarseni@ancol.com with registration fee Rp 50 thousand per class.

Ade (50), pottery artist who teach the pottery class at Pasar Seni admitted, it is not enough for beginner to make a good ceramic only in one meeting. Because it needs a quite long time to learn pottery and extra patience.

 

"In one meeting, beginner can make raw ceramic for 10 minutes," he added.
